Municipality in El Baix Camp, bordering with El Priorat and facing Les Moles de Llaberia and Colldejou mountains (914 metres). Three quarters of this closed and rugged territory ( 14'20 km² ) are woods and pasture lands hard to cultivate.

The village at 431 m. above sea level is located on the southern slopes of La Mola de Colldejou. The only mean of transport that leads to Colldejou is the local road from Mont-Roig to La Torre de Fontaubella.

Our population lives mostly on agriculture although 3/4 of the territory remain uncultivated due to its scarp orography. Only 17 hectares are dedicated to irrigated growings. The chief crops are hazelnut, vine, almond and cereal . Agriculture is complemented with some poultry farming. Cattle raising has nowadays completely disappeared and so have the coal and plaster industries in town.
